Did i have a panic attack or a health or lung problem? i couldn't breath & felt like i was going to die. had to take xanax (alprazolam). but im scared it was more.

Prob panic attack: With a history of severe anxiety and OCD, it would not be surprising to have a panic attack as well. At your age, it is unlikely to be a heart or lung problem, but a physical exam and simple lab tests can figure that one out. If these attacks become more frequent or severe, you may need additional antidepressant medication and/or psychotherapy to deal with them. Usually chest Xrays /EKGs needed.
