No: Lung over inflation isn't an issue with just breathing even if you are hyperventilating.

Not likely...: Overinflation can only happen if there is obstruction to airflow. If you have no underlying airway disease, then there is nothing to prevent the air you inhale from coming back out when you exhale. This will happen automatically and overinflation will not occur. If you have a lung disease which causes airway obstruction then overinflation can happen. Hope this helps!! Good luck!!
