Your : Your symptoms are consistent with dysfunctional uterine bleeding (dub). This can happen when hormones are fluctuating. You had a long time period without ovulating it appears (8 months), and are now having very heavy bleeding. However two months is a very long time and i would urge you to seek evaluation for that and have your blood level checked. Also please be sure that your pap smear is normal.

See gynecologist: At 65 years of age you are not having periods and your bleeding is abnormal by many measures. Please consult your gynecologist to rule out uterine lesions that may be the reason for the bleeding.
