dr said i was having a miscarriage when my hcg stayed the same at 136. i experienced light bleeding and clotting/cramps one day. i checked my hcg level exactly two weeks later and it's at 75. why is it not at 0?

See below: Hcg declines much slower than it increases because there are still cells that secrete it. In healthy pregnancies, the HCG doubles every 2.2 days.
