A member asked:

Can a rh shot when light bleeding no clotting just a light pinkish color, no cramping, keep you from having a miscarriage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The Rh shot does not prevent miscarriage. It protects future pregnancies from Rh disease. What that means is that if you are Rh neg and get exposed to Rh pos blood from this pregnancy, you will have an immune response and you will make antibodies to Rh pos blood. In subsequent pregnancies, that antibody can cross the placenta and attack the baby's blood if it is Rh pos again, causing anemia.
