What is the earliest age that someone can be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes?

About 1 yr.: Type 1 diabetes is most common in late childhood, occasionally seen under 5 and rarely reported below 1 yr. In 30+ yrs I have seen 2 young kids at 18-24 months at the start of the disease, and bunches in the 9-17yr age group.

Infancy: Type 1 diabetes is autoimmune diabetes. My youngest patient was only a few months old when she developed this.
