Yes, : Yes, your child should see a doctor. Many kids will get viral infections that cause fever for a couple days, but if the fever persists for 3 days or more - i usually recommend that they see a doctor to rule out more serious bacterial infections such as an ear infection. This is especially true in little ones who can't talk yet and tell you what is wrong. My rule of thumb is to get them checked after 3 days of fever unless they are acting sick - then have them seen sooner.
