I am scheduled for surgery tomorrow-removal of uterine polyp. ive had a slight cold for a week- dry cough, runny nose, sore throat. now the cold has become worse, with a strong wet cough, slight fever and congested nose/head. what should i do?

Call your doctor: I would recommend calling your doctor to let them know. It's not a problem for the procedure itself, but if you were scheduled to have anesthesia, the anesthesiologist may not want to use anesthesia on you if you are suffering from a bad cold/upper respiratory infection right now, and may want to postpone the procedure. Hope you feel better soon!
