Gastric : Gastric acid can irritate the throat. Also, if vomiting was a result of a virus tonsilar pain can be a sign of an infection. However if the pain does not resolve it should be evaluated by a physician.C.

Throw up?: Throwing up is a violent movement from your stomach to your throat. Soreness is to be expected. Rinse out with warm salt water and your throat should get better in a day to two.
