A member asked:

I have mild to moderate exercised induced angina. am i right in assuming that i should restrict my activity if i experience arm back, or chest pain as this would indicate possible damage to the cells or tissues of the heart?

Not : Not only should you limit your activity, you should get yourself immediately to your doctor. This is a very concerning warning sign. You need to be aware that just because the symptoms occur at exercise doesn't mean there's not a problem at rest. Please be seen by your primary care doctor today if possible!

Emergency: If you have cardiac pain you should seek help from cardiologist or er to rule out heart attack and protect myocardium from further damage. Do not delay.
