Avoid sharp objects!: I recommend applying warm compresses to the area for 10-15 minutes, several times a day. A bartholin's gland cyst or abscess is a little deep for 'popping' and you may make it worse. If it doesn't drain spontaneously, your ob/gyn can do an incision & drainage in the office, and/or (esp if it comes back) a procedure called a marsupialization to prevent recurrences.

Hi. I went to see the gynae and I was told I had a 2cm cyst and vaginal infection. I was given cream to treat the latter. What could have caused the cyst and is it advisable to leave it and not remove it. I also have a single very tiny wart on vulva?
