I : I would recommend you see either your primary care doctor or a gynecologist to get this looked at. Although it's more likely than not a bartholan's gland cyst as you've described, there are other things it could be that are treated in different ways. Most doctors will see you very quickly to get this looked at.

Avoid sharp objects!: I recommend applying warm compresses to the area for 10-15 minutes, several times a day. A bartholin's gland cyst or abscess is a little deep for 'popping' and you may make it worse. If it doesn't drain spontaneously, your ob/gyn can do an incision & drainage in the office, and/or (esp if it comes back) a procedure called a marsupialization to prevent recurrences.
