Spontaneous : Spontaneous nose bleeding like you describe (especially from just one side of the nose) is often from a prominent blood vessel inside your nose (usually on your septum). Often this blood vessel is either larger or closer to the skin lining surface than normal making it easier to be traumatized or rupture. There are other possible causes of nose bleeding such as growths, polyps, etc. Given the persistence of your symptoms it would probably be a good idea to have your nose checked out. If a prominent blood vessel is localized it can be cauterized very easily in the office.
