If not improved after a week or so, consider seeing a dermatologist who can evaluate the area, make an accurate diagnosis, and prescribe medication to help you.

Peeling skin: If your skin is 'raw' as you state , you first has to heal that . Then you can begin an antifungal - if it fungus. See your podiatrist for help. Good luck.
