If : If you need an endoscopy, you need to see a gastroenterologist (gi doctor) near you. You can call your primary care doctor for a suggestion of someone they like and trust. The national average price for the procedure is $2700, but this can vary based on location and what exactly you need to have done based on your condition. Call around and talk to various offices. Many of them may have discounts or payment plans for people who do not have insurance. Good luck!

You need: To see either a gastroenterologist or colon and rectal surgeon, who will perform the test. As to cost you may be able to negotiate a reduced fee or a payment plan with the doctor and the facility where it is performed. Sometime a county hospital system if available may be able to help defray the cost.
