A member asked:

Do i need an insurance card when i go to a health clinic for a vaginal check up ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends...: If you would like the clinician to submit the claim (bill for the visit) to your insurance company, you need to bring your card along. You may pay cash and ask for a "super bill" to submit to insurance yourself. You may also ask for a "cash price" for your visit. Usually, payment will be requested at the time if your service unless you present a valid insurance card.
