A member asked:

I have no insurance & my primary dr is 2 hrs away. could i get my prescriptions refilled at a minute clinic or health clinic if i bring my bottles?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: If you bring a recent Rx bottle, clearly marked, and you have a legitimate need for the medication you may, at the discretion of the provider, get a partial or complete refill, especially if there are refills allowed, as marked on the bottle and you don't do it all the time. It may get a bit salty if it's a controlled substance like Vicodin or Valium, etc. Best to arrange refill timing with your doc
