A member asked:

My daughter-in-law is having swelling in her left side of her face and pain every day-and sleeps more than she should-why? she went to doctors and they do not know what it is-would you know what it could be?

She : She should be seen to have these symptoms evaluated as they are concerning. Things to notice and tell the doctor: is the area warm or hot to touch? Does she have a fever? Does she appear to have a dental infection? Can she eat and drink? Facial swelling is concerning for infection and she needs to be medically evaluated.
