I : I agree that you don't have the typical risk-factors for indigestion. My biggest concern is that sometimes patients have symptoms of indigestion but it is actually angina. I would advise that you go in and have an ekg and see your doctor to see if you need to have a stress test. That is very important. If your symptoms persist, and your ekg is normal, then your doctor can advise a treatment plan for you. If you develop chest pain, nausea or vomiting, pain in your jaw/arms or back, palpitations or light-headedness then you must be seen as an emergency.

See your doctor: Heartburn is a symptom of acid refluxing into the lower esophagus, which can occur in conditions where the valve (sphincter) becomes weaker; it also happens when there is excess acid. If it is a new symptom and is persistent, you should see your doctor, and may need evaluation of your stomach and esophagus by endoscopy or xray. If you are a smoker, that can cause it, and you should quit.
