Liver enzymes: Liver performs many functions, one of which is processing meds/drugs/supplements/food additives/etc. Any of those can raise liver enzymes. High blood lipids & diabetes can lead to fatty infiltration. Viral illnesses like hav, hbv, hcv, ebv, & others can affect liver enzymes. Benign or malignant growths in the liver can elevate enzymes. Fp will want to work up this condition to find cause.
