Please : Please do not hesitate to go back to your child's doctor or if it's after hours please go to your local emergency department if your son seems worse to you. Signs that he is getting worse include fever that is not going down after tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen, severe coughing, difficulty breathing. Trust your instincts, if he looks worse to you then go with your gut and have him evaluated immediately.

Now: If your child not getting better on medications and as you say getting worse you may need to seen by physician again. May need change of medication or if warranted repeat radiography. Advise taking the child back to pediatrician or to er based i his current conditions.
