Stress : Stress can definitely bring on contractions. In reality any excitablitiy or stressful situation can bring them on. You are 30 weeks pregnant and are also likely experiencing braxton hicks contractions. These are lower intensity contractions, and could be though of as your uterus getting ready and practicing for labor. These are normal and can happen throughout the day and night. Please try to decrease your stress and relax. Remember if your contractions become painful or consistent you need to contact your doctor right away.
