Not normal: Any bleeding at this point during pregnancy is not normal until proven otherwise by your OB MD. When the placenta is situated ahead of the fetus prior to labor (placenta previa) bleeding can ensue prior to actual labor contractions which can only make the bleeding worse. Contact your OB MD about this matter now.
