Almost there: If you are feeling contractions, you need to check in with your OB's office to get an US and see how they want to monitor you in the final days. Depending on your medical condition, they may even induce the labor at this stage for an earlier delivery or give you some meds to halt contractions for a couple of weeks.

Can happen: Contact your OB if contractions are q 5-7 minutes apart, persist at least for an hour, or your bag of water breaks, or if the baby is significantly slow in movements. Meanwhile a back rub, extra strength Tylenol, (acetaminophen) warm tub soak, may help. Best wishes for your labor and delivery.
