How can i prepare my child for kindergarten?

Get excited: Help your child get excited about this next big step. In the month before attending school put a little more structure into their day with some time for arts and crafts, reading books, quiet time, practice writing name, etc. This will help prepare them for some of the activities kindergarten will have. If possible figure out what friends will be in their class and schedule a couple play dates.

Kindergarten ready: Reading to your child, singing songs, ABCs, playgroups. Drawing and coloring, and.....practice with safety scissors. Cutting curved lines was on my child's kindergarten readiness testing and he failed miserably. He is now a successful adolescent, by the way.
