SIgns : Signs of prostate cancer include painful urination, difficulty starting and stopping urination, blood in the urine, and groin/low back/hip pain. There is a blood test that is used for screening called psa to detect prostate cancer cells. Psa blood test and digital rectal exams are recommended for all men age 50 and over. If there is a familiy history, early detection is crucial.

Sx of Prostate Cance: Many prostate cancers produce no noticeable signs and symptoms until late in their course. A psa or other lab test can serve as a useful screen, but imaging and tissue sampling biopsy studies are required, as is a thorough physical exam. It would be best to consult a urologist.
