It depends on stage: It depends on stage. Superficial bladder cancer can be controlled for many years. Muscle invasive bladder cancer has a worse prognosis yet it can be controlled in about 50% of the patients when treated by an expert. Uro-oncologist.

Bladder cancer: Adenocarcinoma is not the typical cancer involving the bladder. (urothelial carcinoma). I would definitely want to know what your prostate cancer status is? Did you have your prostate removed or radiated. What is your psa. Primary adenocarcinoma of the bladder is not approached the same as urothelial cancer. Discuss this with your urologist.
