Depends: Where does it hurt - a generalized ha may be a concussion. Scalp pain where you were hit is just soft tissue trauma.

May or may not: Concussions are usually the result of minor head trauma and are usually sports-induced. A concussion in an alert person, generally have inattention, slowed responses to questions asked and memory impairment. Headache and nausea are frequently reported symptoms. Since, you have not reported any other symptoms, it may not be concussion, but pain, lasting 7 hrs., can still be a concussion.Thanks.

Depends: The effects of concussions can vary and be unpredictable. It depends on the severity of the injury. The symptoms can include headache, dizziness, vision change (blurred vision/ double vision), nausea/vomiting. If your symptoms or headache are severe, or if you have a loss of consciousness, you should get evaluated immediately.
