Long Instead short: Levemir (insulin detemir) is long acting. It will stay in your system about 24hrs. Don't take the rest of the Novolog for the 24h.Can stay longer than 24hrs if you have kidney or liver problem. -Low Blood sugar: take sugary drinks(Juice, soda, and eat) and go to ER. Low Blood sugar causes sweating, weakness, Tremor, palpitations, passing out, coma and death. Call your doctor for Further advice. Be Well.
