I have injected levemir (insulin detemir) insulin instead of novolog insulin by accident what do i do now?

Eye on sugar: Hi. Sooner or later, it happens to most insulin users. It would have been more dangerous had you injected Novolog instead of Levemir (insulin detemir), (insulin detemir) because Novolog hits with a bang, and hypoglycemia risk would be much higher for 6-7 hours. As it is, your risk is much lower for hypoglycemia having taken Levemir (insulin detemir) by accident. It won't cover your meal well at all. Follow your sugars more for next 16-20 hours.
