Blood in ear after using ear drops used wax removing drops

Ear : Ear wax occurs naturally in our ears to protect the fine tissues of the ear drums. Our bodies naturally reabsorb and replace ear wax, and one should not ever need to clean our ears with a foreign object (such as a qtip). However, sometimes, people experience obstruction due to ear wax build up. This can be remedied with otc warm flushes or ear drops meant to soften the wax and be flushed out. The ear wax build up can perforate (or poke a hole) in a person's ear drum, causing a white, pus like or bloody drainage. If this has occurred, it can be very painful. You will need to see your doctor for a more prescriptive regimen for alleviating the ear wax in your ear. Also, some people are sensitive to the chemicals in the otc ear drop products, causing rash and skin irritation, which may also explain the blood in your ear. Either way, it sounds like you suffer from a build up of wax in your ear and are seeking a solution. Otc solutions are okay, but since you are experiencing a reaction or trauma (as evidenced by the blood in your ear) you will need to know if this is caused by a skin irritant or trauma to the ear drum.
