Yes.: Likely no serious damage but best to see ENT doc to check ear. Q tips should not be used in ear.

Yes there are ways: to get wax out without traumatizing your ear with a Q-tip -- which is why you saw blood. You may also have an infection of the external canal. I hope you didn't unwittingly puncture your ear drum - symptoms for that would be lots of fluid loss, hearing loss and pain. Go see a family physician or healthcare provider.
