A smal bump has appeared on my the top of my daughters left foot should i take her to the doctor? the bump is a little bigger than a pea and somtimes causes minor pain. she does competitive cheer. could it be related to that. or somthing else.

Without : Without examining her foot, it's hard to say what exactly that bump could be. Maybe it's a ganglion cyst, a lipoma, neuroma... The list of possibilities is huge. Since it does cause her minor discomfort and she is an athlete, it is worth taking her to her doctor to have it looked into - maybe it can be treated, or at the very least it would be nice to know that whatever it is won't get any worse and affect her cheering. Evaluation: Yes, i would recommend evalulation and possible x-ray of your daughter's foot. The "bump" could be the cause of your daughter's symptoms.
