A member asked:

What are the usual symptoms of a prostate cyst?

Asymptomatic: Prostatic cysts are typically discovered on ultrasound or other xray test and are relatively rare findings. Majority do not cause symptoms (unless large and could result in lower urinary tract symptoms) and are discovered incidentally. Many arise in the midline of prostate and congenital in origin.

Dr. James Lin answered

Usually, no Sx...: Most prostate cysts are found in prostate ultrasound exam for concerning prostate cancer or rarely in assessing azoospermia (no sperm in semen). They are usually asymptomatic and require no action. For individual concern, ask Doc timely.
