Yes, : Yes, you should be evaluated for this symptom. This is not a normal occurence. At minimum, you should undergo a flexible sigmoidoscopy to look for inlammatory causes, hemorrhoids or even a lesion such as a polyp.

Yes: All bleeding with bowel movements should be properly evaluated, although in your age group, the bleeding is related to nuisance problems such as internal hemorrhoids.
