At six months of age: Typically children start to get their first teeth around the age of six months, although it can be earlier or later. Here is a website for more information: http://www.Mouthhealthy.Org/en/az-topics/e/eruption-charts.Aspx.

Around 5 to 6 months: I've seen it start as early as four months, but generally begins around 5 to 6 months. The first teeth to erupt are usually the lower front incisors.
