4-9 months: Babies usually start drooling and putting fingers in mouth by 4 months. Sometimes they can show all symptoms of teething a good 2 months before you see the tooth pop through. It is ok if you see no tooth even at 9 months as long as the baby is growing fine and is not completely bald.
