If : If you increase activity or exercise levels, eat healthy meals three times a day, and be sure to get enough sleep, you can usually increase your energy levels noticeably. If you try these approaches for 1-2 months without desired results, it may be time to talk with your doctor/health care provider. They may want to check thyroid, iron or sugar levels as changes in these can lead to low energy. People with certain health conditions should speak with a health care provider before increasing activity levels or changing food habits. Increasing activity levels is best done with 10% per week increase, not more. So if you can comfortably walk, jog or bike one mile, the next week go 1.1 miles. Keep building this way until you can do 2, 3 or more miles. If you can comfortably walk 2 blocks, go.

Depends: This all depends on the causes of your lack of energy. It could be metabolic and/or it could be a symptom of depression/anxiety. Consult with your pcp or a psychiatrist for a proper evaluation of your symptoms.
