Disease Protection: Travel vaccines are tailored to what diseases you may face in the countries you are traveling. Sometimes you may be facing typhoid, yellow fever, meningitis, and the like. There are a few universal ones and they include those you are at risk for in your very own home country, the usa. You should be protected from tetanus, whooping cough, measles, and probably hepatitis a and b amoung others.
