A member asked:

Ok, so i had an ultrasound at 15/16 weeks. the tech said the baby was small compared to the gestational sac, so they couldn't date it. is this bad?

Get clarification: No, it's not bad. In the first trimester fetal size (crown-rump length) beats gs measurement every time for accuracy. In the 2nd trimester fetal biometry is important (bpd, abdominal circumference, femur length, ) not sac size.
