Can you wait?: The surgery may also put you under the weather, no use adding insult to injury. Wait if you can in case you need to take narcotic pain meds, since an upset stomach will not tolerate the medicine.

Depends: Most surgeons would not remove your wisdom teeth if you were truly sick at the stomach. Some patients who have not had anything to eat or drink for 8 hours who are scheduled for surgery with sedation, can feel queasy, especially if they are nervous. Medications can be given in the IV to combat the sensation. The biggest risk would be possible nausea and vomiting afterwards.
