Cavities, Gum Diseas: Xerostomia or dry mouth results from mouth breathing and can cause cavities or gum disease. It's caused by obstructed airways, being overweight or skeletal discrepancies that don't allow the mouth to close ie thumb sucking after the age of 6 or so.
