Sublingual : There is a salivary duct in the front part of your lower arch, under your tongue. This is the sublingual salivary gland & duct area.

Sublingual gland: Some times your saliva will shoot out from under your tongue, this is cause by a muscle contraction that squeezes the glands and ducts of the sublingual glands. It happens to everyone, on occasion, especially in the dental chair. Some people can control it, most can not. Simply, it is your sublingual saliva.
