Infectious process: You have an infectious disease most probabely bacterial, but can be viral.Se your doctor as soon as possible as you may need antibiotics if indicated.

Infection: You need a doctor to check you. If your infection is bacterial you will need antibiotics. Usually with swollen lymph glands and high fever you need to be seen as soon as possible since it is bad for your brain and you may be infectious and contagious.
