You can't: Fungus infections spread by spores, and fungal spores are the single hardest buggers to kill. They don't wash out in the laundry and aren't killed by the heat of the drier. And it's not a cleanliness thing. If you get a fungus infection, many otc creams will clear it up, but since the spores live 30 days, you have to treat it for at least 30 days to prevent recurrence.

Try Lamisil (terbinafine): This won't kill the spores, but it will help you get rid of the jock itch, ringworm, athletes foot and help reduce it's spread in your gym! you can help reduce your risk of getting jock itch and athletes foot by getting out of your sweaty clothes, showering, and getting dry clothes/socks on.
