A member asked:

Does vitamin k have any effect on spider veins?

Probably not: Beacause it really does not penetrate through the skin and oral doses in healthy individuals probably have little if any effect on prevention.

No.: Vitamin k is a fat-soluble vitamin necessary for proper blood clotting. Spider veins are tiny dilated skin capillaries that are unsightly, and ranging in color from red to dark purple (depending on the flow rate and oxygenation of the blood within). Spider veins are not "broken" capillaries, just weakened (usually genetics, but aggravated by weight or pregnancy) vessels that look bad.
