PID: Assuming that the smear was a vaginal smear, this could be due to an infection of the female genital tract (the female organs, uterus, vagina, cervix, tubes, etc). This is usually called pelvic inflammatory disease and usually the treatment involves an antibiotic course. Present to your physician for close follow up.
