I've been diagnosed with bronchitis, been on antibiotics for 6 days, but i still have a chesty cough, is this normal? i feel a lot better than i did.

Yes: Cough may persist and will slowly get better over the next week or so. The so-called "chesty" cough comes from the excessive mucus in the airways that rattles with each coughing effort and creates the "wet" character of the cough. Please make sure that you complete the antibiotic therapy for the prescribed duration & get a follow up evaluation from your doctor.
