Yes: Although bronchitis is generally caused by a virus and therefore not helped by antibiotics, you should be fine. The reason antibiotics are sometimes prescribed is that as we get older, we are at increased risk for secondary infections, like pneumonia. Since the 3 year old just had bronchitis, his/her immune system should be in full gear. Have fun!
