Therapy resistant?: If you are living or working in a dangerous or threatening situation, such as domestic abuse/violence or other ongoing harassment, anxiety would likely continue. If you are using substances which can precipitate anxiety -- such as alcohol, methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, etc -- anxiety would continue. You must explore these things with your doctors. Therapy will not counteract them.

Deep breathing: Anxiety is sometimes related to shallow breathing when anxious. Your internal organs are not sufficiently oxygenated. Practice and create a habit of deep breathing. Anxiety can also be a warning sign - your body trying to tell you something. I would get a check up with your primary care physician. You also need to continue any technique for a sufficient amount of time for it to be effective.

Anxiety=treatable: Anxiety is caused by a central chemical imbalance associated with certain patterns of perception . Treatment is a process of regulation and fine tuning using medication. Cognitive behavioral therapy is highly effective when done by a trained specialist as well. Try to find a psychiatrist who sub-specialize in anxiety disorders and a therapist who specialize in cbt, the results will be worth it.
